I've learned that self-care is the greatest thing you can do for yourself. Not only have I seen clients go from the weekly "must-have-a-massage-or-I-won't-make-it" appointment to the monthly or less "massage is wonderful" appointment, I've felt the importance of self-care in my own life.
I was in multiple car accidents as a child, and have suffered from migraines, neck, and back pain my whole life. It wasn't until I discovered massage, chiropractic care, acupuncture, and yoga that I was able to escape my pain.
Without a lifestyle change, it can be difficult to recover from injuries or manage high levels of stress over the long-term. I specialize in stress management, anxiety and depression issues, and chronic neck pain.
No one should have to live with pain. I do my best to help people enjoy their lives more fully by minimizing and eliminating pain, and giving my clients tools to help themselves at home.
A little bit about me:
I'm an artistic sort of person. I love playing music, writing, painting (poorly), and exploring the outdoors. I'm very interested in the future of biological sciences and am currently pursuing a PHD in Biology. I am especially interested in Somatosensory research, and hope to be instrumental in finding more supporting data for alternative/preventative medicines like massage therapy.
